Technical support to Goris State Agricultural College

Within the framework of “Modernizing Vocational Education and Training in Agriculture in Armenia” (MAVETA) project, we continue to promote the development of agricultural sector.

In the scope of the MAVETA project “Strategic Development Agency” (SDA) NGO, equipped Goris State Agricultural College with new computers and laboratory equipment.

Due to the provided technical support, the teachers will be able to organize the teaching process by using more creative and interactive techniques. And the availability of laboratory equipment will contribute to the increase of interest and motivation in the profession of milk and dairy technologist.

By using these computers and the laboratory equipment the college students will have an opportunity to improve their knowledge and skills to become more competitive specialists in the labor market.

The MAVETA project is funded by a broad coalition of international and local organizations led by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), including the Austrian Development Agency, the German Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), the Government of Armenia, the Swiss Church Aid (HEKS/EPER) NGO, Izmirlian Foundation, the Strategic Development Agency (SDA) NGO and Vanand Agro CJSC.

 The project’s implementing partners are the GIZ and HEKS/EPER with the involvement of SDA and the School of Agricultural, Forest and Food Sciences at the Bern University of Applied Sciences (HAFL).
