The involvement of the employers in the curricula development/revision and dual VET implementation processes is very important. On June 22-23, an event was organized within the framework of the MAVETA project aimed to strengthen the cooperation between VET institutions and private sector and to discuss and develop future joint activity plans.

The event started with the welcome speeches by Ms. Monique Frey from HEKS/EPER and Mr. Mkrtich Ayvazyan, Chairman of the Strategic Development Agency NGO.

During the two-day working meeting, three working groups involving the private sector and educational institutions discussed the challenges of the dual VET implementation and highlighted solutions for how to overcome and solve them. During the event the participants also discussed and developed draft action plans for the promotion of the selected professions.

In the framework of MAVETA project the Memorandum of Understanding were signed between the Strategic Development Agency (SDA) NGO and the project Partner organizations and VET colleges.
