Concluding the “Digital Marketing for Hospitality and Tourism” three-month training course

On September 11, within the framework of “Living Landscapes of Armenia for Market Development” project, a closing ceremony was held to summarize the “Digital Marketing for Hospitality and Tourism” three-month training course.

During the last day of the training, participants represented the learnt skills and capacities, shared the results they achieved through the course.

The participants made presentations,  represented their successful attempts and own examples based on the learnt capacities and skills, showed the changes made on digital platforms for their businesses and increased views and online sales.

The training course was conducted by the professional team of “Marog” marketing agency.

The purpose of the training was to improve capacities and skills of suppliers and tourism services providers, so that the latter can competently and attractively represent their businesses on various digital platforms.

About 35 participants from tour operators and travel companies, Tourism Committee of RA, Armenian Tourism Federation, regional tourism service providers and other organizations working in hospitality sector, participated in the training.

All participants of the training expressed their satisfaction and stated that due to it they were introduced to the important digital marketing tools used in hospitality sector and by applying them, they were able to acquire skills and knowledge to develop their business.

At the end of the training, the participants were given certificates.

“Living Landscapes for Market Development in Armenia” project is implemented by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) Caucasus and Armenian offices in collaboration with Strategic Development Agency (SDA), funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC).
