Amadeus Air Ticketing System Certificate Awarding Ceremony within the framework of RECONOMY project
The Armenian Tourism Federation held a certificate awarding ceremony for participants of the Amadeus Air Ticketing System second short-term training course on April 1st, at Sedrak Mamoulyan’s culinary studio.
During the course technical support was provided by RECONOMY’s “Digitizing Sectors for Competitiveness” project.
The graduates were welcomed and wished success in their work by Narek Khachatryan, “Digitizing Sectors for Competitiveness” project officer, and Mekhak Apresyan, president of the Armenian Tourism Federation.
The certificate awarding ceremony was followed by a discussion regarding the importance of the role of national cuisine in the tourism sector between Sedrak Mamulyan, President of the “Development and Preservation of Armenian Culinary Traditions” NGO and the graduates, during which they enjoyed national and traditional dishes.
It is worth noting that specialists trained in the Amadeus Air Ticketing System will be well-positioned for employment in tourism-related organizations requiring expertise in reservation systems.
RECONOMY is an inclusive and green economic development program of the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida), implemented by Helvetas in partnership with the Strategic Development Agency NGO and others in the Eastern Partnership and Western Balkan countries.
